Giulia Yoshimura, of Japanese descent, lives and works as an artist and muralist in Portugal. With a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), and currently a master’s student in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto, her artistic career began in 2015, finding her inspiration in flora, and thus immersing her production in aesthetic exploration inspired by the plant world. Her involvement with art, together with her studies in Architecture, led her to explore larger scales and bring her painting into the public space. Her work can be found in Brazil, Portugal, France, Spain and Germany. She was the winner of the Urban Art category of the Mostra Nacional Jovens Criadores de Portugal Award in 2022.
