To provide the relationship between the Le Non Lieu cultural space and WOOL with more continuity, in October of 2017, we invited Doa Oa (Spain) and, once more, Samina (Portugal) to create two large-dimension murals on the city’s streets.

Samina portrayed the composer Georges Delerue, born in Roubaix, on a brick wall. Delerue composed numerous film music scores, among which Platoon (Oliver Stone), Hiroshima, My Love (Alain Resnais) and Le Dernier Métro (Froançois Truffaut).

Doa Oa chose to represent the cotton plant, Gossypium arboretum, in an allusion to the textile industry in Roubaix.
