For the 2015 edition of CALE – Festival de Rua do Fundão (Fundão Street Festical), we invited the Argentinian artist Milu Correch.
Based on old images, especially those from “Estudio Rosel”, a historical reference in the municipality, the mural that Milu Correch painted on one of the walls of the “A Praça” incubator evoked the building’s history and the weekly market that is held in the city every Monday.
Milu’s enthusiasm for this piece and the city’s history was so deep that she went back to Fundão months later for an artistic residency in the engraving area.
