Co-founder of ASALTO – Festival Internacional de Arte Urbano (ES)
Luis Garcia Alaman (1977, Zaragoza) studied graphic design at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón, later completing his studies with a master’s degree in Cultural Management and another in User Experience.
Since 2005, he has been part of the design studio Undo Estudio, a studio specializing in the design, production and communication of cultural projects. And of the Asalto ORG collective, creators and organizers of the Asalto Festival and numerous urban art productions and festivals, both in large cities and rural areas.
He currently combines these roles with teaching design.
This is the International Urban Art Festival which, since 2005, has flooded the streets of Zaragoza for several months with avant-garde, participatory and impactful artistic proposals developed in situ by urban artists and art collectors from the national and international scene. It is therefore a formula for global interaction with the city and its neighborhoods, both on an urban and social level, which year after year seduces artists and collectors as well as citizens and tourists. As the concept is about a unique artistic experience and creation, the entire creative process, and the execution are carried out in the urban community of Zaragoza, with the best work, the best canvas and the best gallery being its calls.
Over the years, the Asalto festival has acquired a specific and recognized weight in Zaragoza’s cultural programming, asserting itself as one of the few proposals that has prevailed over time and that each year adapts and reinvents itself.
